A satanic prayer at an Iowa city council meeting has sparked a conversation about faith, religious freedom, and the role of Christianity in today's culture. What happens when a prayer to Satan is delivered during a government meeting, and how should Christians respond?
In Episode 70 of the Why Not You Podcast, Pastor Ed Newton and Pastor Hutch Kufal react to the satanic invocation at the Ottumwa, Iowa City Council meeting and discuss the importance of standing for truth in a changing culture.
They also unpack why Christian rapper Hulvey canceled his sold-out concert in Amsterdam, Bear Grylls' public expressions of faith in Jesus, and a thought-provoking question Pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr. asked ChatGPT: "If you were the devil, what would you do?"
From faith and politics to spiritual warfare, personal conviction, and the influence of AI, this episode explores what it means to follow Jesus without compromising your beliefs.
